The Boulder Shelter for the Homeless

Boulder County Cares

Boulder County Cares

Boulder County Cares (BCC) is the street outreach program of the Boulder Shelter. This program utilizes trained volunteers that canvass the community every winter evening, distributing blankets, gloves, hats, and other warm clothing, and providing food to unsheltered homeless people who are living on the streets. BCC clients may also receive, when appropriate, transportation to the Shelter or other local care providers.

Boulder County Cares operates from October 1 through April 30 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. If you see a homeless person in need during these hours, please call the BCC cell phone at (303) 358-7036 to request assistance.

For more information, call the BCC office phone at (303) 468-4328.
